Join Megan LaPointe, local rancherm and cheesemaker, at My EIEIO Farm in Bowie, TX, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make fresh mozzarella and ricotta from raw milk straight from the farm’s dairy herd. With only 6 spots available, this intimate, 3-hour class offers personal instruction and plenty of time for questions, tasting, and hands-on learning.
You’ll begin with an overview of basic cheesemaking equipment, ingredients, and techniques. Then, you’ll move step-by-step through the entire process of making both cheeses by hand—learning how to troubleshoot, test textures, and understand the transformation of milk into curds and whey.
